We're Obsessed: The Swedish Interior Decor Accounts We Can't Get Enough of Right Now

If you've been following our Journal for a while, you'll know that we're head over heels in love with the interior stylings of Scandinavia and its creative residents. On Instagram, it seems like everyone from that region of the world is living in a picture-perfect home that's the ideal combination of minimal and cosy—something that we're definitely taking inspiration from since the temperature is dropping each day. Today we're turning our attention directly to our favourite Swedish interior decor accounts that we rely on for tips on room layouts, styling, and how to create a home that's curated yet authentic.

Christine (@bjorkmanchristine)

To kick things off, this content creator, photographer and overall stylish Swede must be added to your following list ASAP. From pale herringbone floors to Thonet chairs galore, Christine's Instagram gallery is like a dream come true. Whether you're starting a gallery wall or looking for the right dining chair combination, you'll find all you need to inspire you within this monochrome account.

Adam Helbaoui (@kronfoto)

With almost one hundred thousand dedicated followers, there's a reason why Adam's Instagram is a source of interior inspo for so many. With a slightly more bold and colourful take on Scandi design, his Insta squares are showcase a variety of rooms that he's photographed that all display what we love about Swedish styling—heritage details, soft layers, and warm textures.

Ida Ryding (@byidaryding)

Swedish home decor expert Ida's almost two hundred thousand followers are regularly treated to curated snippets of her styled spaces that are bright and earthy at the same time. With natural-toned wishbone chairs, jute rugs and pops of pastel pink, her take on Scandi makes for the perfect place to curl up with a tea and a good book.

IKEA Sweden (@ikeasverige)

We couldn't have a list of the best Swedish interior decor accounts without mentioning possibly the biggest destination for all things Scandinavian, IKEA. With half a million followers already, the Swedish Instagram account is packed with aspirational styled images to show you how to best use your IKEA pieces throughout the home as well as beautiful shots of stylish customers' homes.

BEMZ (@bemzdesign)

Speaking of IKEA, Bemz is another genius Scandinavian brand that creates bespoke solutions to furniture bought from the retail giant. From sofa covers to customisable legs, BEMZ is an affordable way to make your IKEA purchases stand out from the crowd. Head over to their Instagram page to see how you can turn a standard sofa into a luxurious heirloom.

Elle Decor Sweden (@elledecorationse)

We love seeing posts from one of our absolute favourite interior magazines, Elle Decor Sweden pop up on our Instagram feed. The distinctively European vibe is enough to make you want to completely redecorate your entire apartment, with organic shapes, dainty blooms and pops of colour scattered throughout.

Katarina Matsson (@ettrumtill)

We just had to include the Print Director of Elle Decor as well in our Swedish interiors list due to her swoon-worthy feed that's a warm-tones feast for the eyes. Gallery walls, vintage furniture finds and stacks of books fill her home and provide us with endless home inspo.

Alvhem (@alvhem)
